Rumors are this might be secret photos of Elkin's or Fragems' house.

Can't be Elkin's house. Not enough amiibo or waifu merchandise on the shelves.

What do you enjoy about the single player mode so much? I understand why you enjoy Ys so much, but what's the trick with PSO?
It's just an incredibly addictive, brilliantly-designed hack and slash ARPG. Everything it does it does well - music, graphics, dungeon design, and so on. It's one of those few games where I completely lose track of time while playing.

Niiiiiiiiiice.

For the uninitiated, those are late era (1986-1990) Atari releases, though a great many are re-issues of older games.
Thanks! I am pumped about it. The sad part is that my copy of Ikari Warriors is CIB, and I will have to inbox it eventually to fit with all of the other games. (Also, I don't have the mythical red label version of BMX Airmaster, and I am not entirely convinced an NTSC version exists.)

Silver label games will be really tough; so, I will probably go for text label variants next.

I was confused at first, too, but indeed, not enough amiibo. Probably Fragem's house.

With all the important expensive things I have to worry about, I just can't be bothered to spend money on ancient games I can play for free. Ethically speaking, if it's possible to throw the original publisher money for digital downloads of their classic games, go for it. But most old games don't fall under that umbrella. I'd rather save my gaming budget for stuff I can't play for free; games which don't emulate well. I understand my approach doesn't work for a retro collector, in which having the physical objects makes them happy. But I'm just a retro player, not a retro collector.

I still like to collect, and will do so, but yeah, I'm not going out of my way to drop hundreds on a game I can get cheaper, or the publisher no longer derives money from. I'll play Panzer Dragoon Saga to my heart's content until I magically find one at a yard sale for $1. 8)

I guess it's been awhile since I've bought carts. I pretty much own all my favorites on the SNES anyways. Other than that I just haven't put in the investment for a decent setup with my old CRT and space is somewhat of an issue in apartments. Eventually it would be nice to have some old systems setup again. I would namely like to build up a Genesis and maybe N64 library again. NES seems like a no go unless I drop some gold for a top loader or get a clone system. I had two of the toasters die on me growing up since I played them so much. And I'm also on my second SNES which was my grandparents, it's still in top notch shape. My original one turned into brown mush.

To clarify, this is a recently-released compilation (2012 I think). So you can still get it sealed.

It contains:

Dragon Slayer
Xanadu
Xanadu Scenario II: Resurrection of the Dragon
Romancia
Dragon Slayer IV: Drasle Family (aka Legacy of the Wizard)
Sorcerian
Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes
Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes II
Lord Monarch
Advanced Lord Monarch
The Legend of Xanadu
The Legend of Xanadu II

Emulated versions of all those games on one disc.
