The difference on importing vs US versions is astounding....(so glad to have a r5 for that point too...wish they'd add the patch feature to the supaboy already though because that would be nice....)

As far as I know, the announcer is saying "Make the pass!"

Good short review that manages to hit on what I love about this game (one of my favorites on the NES - I seriously recommend it to anyone looking for NES games when they come into my store) - the fun and simplistic arcade style game play. When it comes to sports games, I prefer games like this or Tecmo Super Bowl or NBA Jam over their most realistic counterparts. I tried playing NHL '94 but found that all the characters just felt heavy (like a hockey player would really be) and I ended up going back to this game.
I sell video games and video game accessories.

not possible since the R5 is using emulation and the Supaboy is using clone hardware.

Good stuff. It's not a perfect game, with some really weird game design at times, the world building and such doesn't fully come together, etc... but it's still a crazy experience. The story is way more out there than the usual (well weird was the usual for Quintet haha), and yeah the atmosphere/music is insane. It felt pretty cinematic too to me, for an SNES game, the cutscenes and such were really well done and emotional. Definitely a good one and worth seeing through to the end if you can get past some of the quirky parts.
