yup same devs that made Deja Vu so wicked frustrating!
I may lighten up the day a lil by playing a lil bit of Loaded and Sega Ages. A hd remake of loaded would be cool with all the couch co-op makin a comeback in the mainstream (which is a staple in retrogamin).
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
played some more MGS today. I'm on the third level now. Shit gets hard because I'm really not good at stealth. But I'm enjoying it immensely nonetheless.
Also threw in R-Type Delta. The first level was a breeze. Second... not so much. I got all the way up to the part in level two where you descend into the water and big pillars are falling without losing a life. Then I lost all my lives right there. Yikes.

Amazing indeed.
Did you play Metal Gear 2 (MSX2)?
nope.
I've played the NES MG. I've played MGS on GBC. That's it.
I have MGS2 for PS2, but holding out for the version of MGS3 that has the MSX2 games on the bonus disc so I can play those.
The NES game is... okay (the MSX version is very good). The GBC game is pretty good. Metal Gear 2 though, I can't possibly give enough praise to it. Quite easily one of the best 16-bit games ever made.
Just finished up banjo kazooie. That was a hell of a final boss - it went on and on, and was pretty tricky. I enjoyed the game overall, there are some thing about it which feel a little rough around the edges, but it's a solid fun platformer, and it feels a little faster paced than mario 64. I intend to fully complete it tomorrow, which will require doing 2 of the 9 levels over again to get the maximum note score of 100 on each, followed by finishing some jigsaws for cheats. Otherwise I have everything - I have 100/100 jiggies, 24/24 extra honeycomb pieces, 3/3 cheato pages and even all the secret stop n swop stuff which was never used in the end!
