None of the bosses in the Void are immune to Wind. Honestly I can't recall any bosses being immune to Wind; possibly the undead trio in the great trench since I so rarely run that (as you only need to run it if you have Time Mage).

Yes it is. It's very much an RPG. In many ways the very definition of it. Gaurdian Heroes is an RPG. Just hack n slash RPGs.

Following Exhumy's advice, I started Oath in Felganah as the next Ys game I do (as it's a remake of 3, which I didn't know before). I also finally got the expanded battery and back-case for my PSP, so now I'm all ready to roll 8) . It controls great so far. The voice acting and dialogue are all REALLY funny so far, but I'm not sure it's trying to be that way on purpose Xp

I wouldn't say Guardian Heroes and Diablo are all that comparable, if that is what you were trying to say.

Guardian Heroes is a brawler first, RPG second, which is to say it is a brawler with RPG elements. It is definitely not the converse, an RPG with brawler elements. Diablo you could get away with calling an ARPG.

I appreciate you took my advice to play Oath in Felganah. But I would not have advised the PSP version over the PC version. If you aren't too far in, I recommend the PC version. Yes the PSP version plays great and is serviceable, but the PSP's limited resolution hurts versus PC. The PC makes the polygons cleaner and the sprite scaling is tons better. Here's two comparison screenshots to illustrate what I mean...

Ys Oath is still a great game either way. Have fun!

Yup, I concur. I played through Felghana on PSP and it was fine, but for Trails in the Sky, I ended up rebuying the game on PC. It's a lot easier to play without all the dithering and increased resolution.

There are two Falcom action-RPGs I wholeheartedly recommend playing on PSP though:

Both are well worth any genre fan's time.
