What was the last movie you've seen?

Saw some found footage flicks:

Atrocious - It's about 2 brothers investigating a legend of a girl that went missing on a maze, tense but it wasn't scary at all. Terrible ending too.

The Tunnel - About an TV crew investigating an abandoned tunnel which haves enough water to supply all of Australia. And something else too  . It was Ok.

Grave Encounters - What would happen if the crew of a ghost hunting TV show actually found paranormal activity? They would be part of something that would be essentially The Blair Witch Project + Session 9. I liked it a lot, very creepy and scary.

The Guard

good, but not quite as good as In Bruges imo, very funny in parts though...

Gotcha.

It's in production, but whether we'll see a nationwide release is another thing.

I think it's safe to tell everyone on the board to keep two crisp five dollar bills for the release of LINCOLN. To be honest, I definitely see Steven Spielberg addressing the Oscar audience more than once, as this movie is going to be number one with a bullet.

Office Space - always the classic, always makes me laugh, and it has been a long time since I watched it uncensored.

Predator: Basically Alien in the jungle, with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was good, but not as good as Alien. And sadly, the version I watched was fullscreen. Why, in this modern age of DVDs and HDTVs, do movie publishers keep releasing stuff in fullscreen?

Just because us fancy folk have mega awesome TVs and sorta ok internet doesn't mean that everyone in the US does. Remember the federal aid for all those tuner boxes when there was the switch to digital broadcasts? Many people that still have old TVs just see widescreen movies as being gipped since it doesn't fill the screen.

I have awful internet and only SDTVs, and I hate having the sides of the picture lopped off, even if it means the picture won't fill the screen. I do know people like you described, however.
