Wow, never seen that book. Thanks for the heads up -- I could use something new to read. Never heard of the author, but "he has written for Spin, XXL, The New York Observer, Pitchfork, Village Voice, Creative Loafing, eMusic and others." <-- that's a pretty diverse resume, and I mean someone who's managed to write for such far reaches as XXL and Village Voice seems like an interesting bet. Have you started reading it yet?

I haven't picked it up yet but I just found out looking at some old editorials on Hiphopdx and found this. I've been meaning to get a copy but school has my funds at a low.

Haha Steven Martin, hell yeah.

So ... any thoughts on Leviathan? I hear it's an Alien ripoff with an aquatic setting (same special effects crew as Alien too apparently), haha that gets me pretty curious. I mean I'm sure it doesn't measure up at all, but maybe it's worth checking out and not half bad on its own?

It's okay. It's good, but forgettable

I'm shocked no one has replied about GOON.

The Goon looks good, I wonder if it will happen or not.

I just assumed because that article you linked said:
Latino Review wrote:“as of now this film is still looking for funding.”
That there was a chance it might not happen.
