If you do trim down mas, let me know. I love the Genesis and would give you a fair price.

Repeating the boom/bust cycle again, mas? Why don't you just come up with a good storage system and hold onto everything so you don't have to buy it again when you miss it?

Marurun,
I'm in a point in my life where video games aren't or won't be an addiction anymore. Right now I'm kind of happy I have the genesis for a retro console, a Xbox/360 and thats it. Sure I'll moss the tg16 and the nes but I have friends here that are going to steer me on the right path and now my wife is involved on my spending expense on games and also once I finally move out of my old place and get a bigger one for me and my family, then I'm going to go smart and get a PC. Thats what I'm aiming for and thats what I want next.
I also feel like this. In the last 6 years at one point I owned and asked and questioned why I should do or not or keep or not keep and now I finally broke through. I don't want my nes back, or SNES, or tg16, or ps2,one, gameboy, Wii GameCube, dreamcast but I do know that I always feel that I go back on my Genesis. I love that little system. So yeah that pretty much sums it up for me.

Any CIB or CB?

Just felt the need to say that the Genesis is probably may favorite system and always will be. So I got Whip Rush the other day. Other than that I have been playing Road Rash 2 and finally got Road Rash for the Sega CD only to find out that it does not work any more. Since when do Sega CDs cost $100 now, damn. :x
I think that I only paid $2 for the one I have.

i respect trimming the fat/backing away for a bit, mas - good luck with however you do it man.

so yeah, Pier Solar's fine with a reset, though it's wonky with my 32X. Sacred Line apparently needs a game genie/passthrough but the creator actually sent me a ROM over at sega-16 after i said i couldn't play it, which i think was really cool of him

this week i picked up the cardboard boxes for Comix Zone & Light Crusader for about $10, here's to hoping to find Ristar/Vectorman/Batman & Robin down the line! really really wishing i could find manuals for any of the Phantasy Star games, though.

Thanks Irish ninja.
I won't get rid of everything but games I know I'll never play I'm happy to get rid of.
Just went through some WWF games in order from wrestlemania to WWF arcade. Love how good the genesis port of wrestlemania the arcade game is. I like the 32x version the best though.
Talking about the 32x, I think in the summer I might start getting the arcade ports of games like WWF arcade and space harrier, primal rage, NBA name....there is a lot of akklaim games on the 32x. I do need the spacer for my model 2 though. I should get that now. I see one for 12.00. But hey if someone has a spare spaceer let me know I'd like to buy it

I played Mega Bomberman recently with a room full of friends. We had a projector, a big damn CRT, a tiny Genesis 3, and a healthy dose of trash-talking. I finally understand why people love Bomberman.

I'm currently playing Phantasy Star IV and Lemmings 2.

I picked up Lemmings 2 at the weekend. It's a really good version of the game. Back in the day, I had it on the PC, so I was worried it would suck without a mouse, but it works fine on the controller.

I've had Phantasy Star IV for years and years, but I've never completed it. I started a new game and I'm really getting into. Playing it after playing Final Fantasy VI makes it look really ugly (sorry, but it does :P), but it's really good regardless. I think it's really underrated actually. I know it is held in high regard by Sega fans, but it's never remembered as fondly as the SNES RPGs, but I think it's up there with them.
