Been playing Garou a bit. Went out and picked up a fightpad for 360, so that helps immensely. At first I was a bit letdown by the small roster having played KOF13 so recently. But to be honest there's something nice about having a smaller roster to get familiar with, and having a main character instead of teams to learn. I've been using Terry as I've used him going way the F back to the first Fatal Fury. I'm really enjoying it and am trying to first beat it on 3 continues (the $1 at the arcade thing I mentioned).

Also been playing a lot of Cthulhu which I think is just an excellent game. Awesome writing, great sprite-work, solid old school battle system. I'm up to the boss battle with that other Ancient One (begins with an N, can't spell it from memory) in Dunwich. Which reminds me, as a fan of the macabre (and Lovecraft specifically) I just dig all these references. I haven't explored XBLA's Indie Games much, but if this is any indication of the quality of game you can get for around a buck then I'm looking forward to delving in deeper.

If any part of level 6 of Ninja Gaiden is way harder than level 5-3, I'm fucked.

played some X-Men online but with only one other person on co-op (just a stranger I got paired up with). I bailed after 3 continues though. Besides CFFJR, does anyone else have it on XBLA? It would be awesome to try to get a 6-player game going some time soon.

Classics
1. Shatterhand (NES)
2. Sonic CD (PS3) I started but stopped on the electricity level
3. Final Fight (PS3 or Mame) COMPLETE 6/24
4. Cave Story (DSI) COMPLETE 6/12
5. Shadow of the Ninja (NES) only if I beat Shatterhand first
6. A Castlevania Game (Portrait of Ruin possibly)
6. Jet Grind Radio (DC or PSN when released) NEW
7. Beneath a Steel Sky (PC)

Not Classics that I want to beat before summer ends
8. Clash of Heroes (DS) COMPLETE 5/31
9. Captain America: Super Soldier (PS3) I started it so I should finish it
10. Ben There Dan That & Time Gentlemen Please (PC) started but now have a new PC and no save file
11. Conan (PS3 2007) NEW
12. Batman the Brave and the Bold (DS) NEW

I just finished Final Fight for the first time ever (Double Impact version on the PS3). I wanted to play this through so I didn't worry about how many "quarters" I pumped into the game, but I wanted to keep it under $5 worth even though I don't consider it "completed" until I can beat an arcade game for less that one dollar. I did get the trophy for beating the game using less than 18 continues, so I guess I did keep it under $5 but I don't know how many continues I really used.
I will admit that out of all the beat'em up games I have played the last level of FF might have been the hardest. I know that I spent at least $1 on the level and one continue on the final boss. I'm glad I finally played this game and am motivated to try again for under $3, then $2 and hopefully one day I can beat it for less that $1.

I've also added two more games and replaced one on my list.

Jet Grind Radio has been a game that I love but have never played more than a couple levels/missions. This summer I decided that I will finally sit down and beat the game, especially if it comes out on PSN for a good price. I have no other reason to add this game other than it is considered a classic and I really need to sit down and put some time into this game that I claim to love. Plus I really don't feel like playing another Castlevania game right now.

I chose to add Batman the Brave and the Bold because I started playing it during the NBA Finals, yes I play handheld games while watching sports, and have grinded to have almost all the upgrades and only beat one level so far. Since I stared playing during the games, I would just play some until the game got good then I would save and start again during boring parts of the series... I have two more upgrades to get and then I will play through the levels.

I chose to add Conan because after beating Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, which was dubbed a "God of War clone", I wanted to play another comic book themed "God of War clone". I got Conan last winter from Goozex, I have almost every comic book themed video game requested on Goozex, and have never played it. After checking howlongtobeat.com and found out that the game should take about 5-8 hours, I thought this would be a great little action title to play throughout the summer.

This really would be awesome if we can get it going.

For what its worth, my wife is definitely down to play, so that's one extra.

Anybody else? Seriously, jump in here.

Have you played X-Men Origins: Wolverine on PS3/360? It is probably the best movie-licensed game this generation and it certainly falls into this camp.

I have not played it yet. I will have to check it out and see if it's on Goozex.
I also have the God of War Collection PS3, I'm thinking I should try the original game these others want to be like.

I know I'm a little late to the party on this, but I'm stoked to see if I can finish all these games.

1. Portal 2
2. Policenauts(if I can get the emulation on my PSP to work properly, dying to play this game)
3. Left 4 Dead
4. Fallout 1
5. Xenogears
6. Star Fox (snes) I absolutely love Starfox 64 never played much of the original
7. LOZ: OOT(when I was a kid I sat down and beat this with my brother playing on and off, but I haven't played all the way through since)
8. Super Mario Brothers 3
9. Amnesia: The Dark Descent
10. Starcraft (I have never even played minute one of this game I am sorry to say, real time strategies haven't always been my cup of tea because the usually completely lack a story and I kind of need that to keep me invested in a game)

Super excited to get started on some of these, think I got a pretty good list here. I dunno how much Amnesia and L4D are actually "classics" but they do get a lot of hype and I've never played them.
