The Gamecube controller is awesome. I don't know what y'all are on about.

Agreed! The d-pad is shitty but few games really needed it, so it's a minor gripe for me.

Wii U Pro controller decimates it.

This re-released Gamecube controller was Nintendo's chance to build a bigger D-pad. I could waste a lot of time pining for a wasted opportunity. What a waste that would be, eh?

Overall, I'm happy to have more control options for the wii.

I disagree. I do like it though. Wish Nintendo hadn't abandoned analogue triggers however...

Analog triggers are especially nice in driving games for gas and break.

I like the U Pro Controller. My only problem with it, however, is the placement of the D-Pad. It can cramp my thumb up at times. Take the shape of the Pro Controller, with the triggers, but the face button/joystick layout of the Classic Controller Pro, and that's what I'd really like.

So I've finally replaced my Wii U!

Now, I could have swore I delinked my NNID from the old one somehow before I sold it but I guess that's not the case. I now have to give Nintendo Support a call tomorrow and do some lengthy praying to deities unknown that they'll transfer the old ID over. I have the serial number and register dates for various games and blah blah blah. Last time that STILL wasn't enough to get them to do it. I wonder if it's even worth it. No account transfer should be as convoluted as this.
Older. Not wiser.

This one?

They're REAL Gamecube controllers. Yes, they'll work on a GCN and backward compatible Wii.

How amazing is it that Nintendo is reproducing a controller from two generations ago? When has that ever happen?
