As if I don't already have enough shit to deal with, I've had this uncomfortable "burning" sensation in my chest since like Wednesday morning. Maybe it's just stress or something, but I guess I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow to see if it's something that needs to be checked out. *sigh* I'm so tired of this shit.

Yeah if it's constant, definitely get that checked out. Might be acid reflux or something...

If you are worried go to your local drug store and get your hear rate tested. It's free, and is one of the three most regular stats used when evaluating heart health.

Plus... it's just a machine that squeezes your arm. It's not a human that sticks a finger up your ass *Light bulb goes off!*.

I actually did that last night and nothing was too far off. Blood Pressure was a little bit high but that's nothing new for me. I haven't felt nearly as bad today as I have been so I guess that's good. Maybe it's finally wearing off, whatever it is.

Smile: Today's Penny Arcade totally summed up my feelings about the Sony Smash Brothers clone they are working on.

Capcom could do it. Sega could do it. SNK does it all the time. I don't think Sony has the right stuff.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Capcom vs SNK says hi. Sega did it back on the Saturn. Also, Sony does have quite a few characters to choose from, as long as they can get the rights to use them. I'm crossing my fingers for Gex to be in this.

Pretty sure I mentioned Sega, Capcom, and SNK as being in the 'able to do it' category.

There's no way in hell that Sony can make a compelling game with their IPs. They barely own anything beyond God of War and a few 32 bit era throw backs that they stopped using a decade ago. The would be better off making a good fighter with original characters and a few cameos.

Frown: Tycho apparently doesn't know that the name of the song he quoted was "For What It's Worth", not "Something's Happening Here". I was excited to see a quote from one of my three favorite songs and he couldn't do a simple Google search to check the name? Man. That's the kind of thing he'd rail on Gabe for, too.

This is the problem. There was a reason that Nintendo only had two third-party characters for Brawl, and none previously. It's not easy to get a company on board to do that. And consider that Smash Bros. is an established franchise, whereas Sony has proven nothing to make us think they could pull it off. I can't see many big names jumping on board.

Guess I didn't word that well enough; my point was that they weren't just candidates, they were already in "been there, done that" territory. You made it sound like Capcom and Sega hadn't yet.
