I've spent very little time with Bangai-O so I'm not sure if it should count or not. What is it like again? Eh, not a fan of bangai-o as a shmup, i'd call sin and pun a shmup before bangai-o.
A shmup needs to be moving you through the level, you can hang out on levels in bangai-o and just harvest all-day w/o dying.
