1. Thanos was shown hanging out with Death, and Death seemed to return the affection. The way I've always seen Thanos is pining after Death, hoping to win her affection, only to be scorned by her.
So when did Death accept Thanos as her consort?

I believe because she knew he was "coming home".

I'll have to get back to you on your other two questions. It's been a while since I've read Annihilation.

Yup.

Sometimes she is drop dead gorgeous, sometimes a young girl, and sometimes resembles the grim reaper (not the comic character).

And here I thought DC was being unique with the one from Sandman.

Well DC actually has many sides to death. For the New Gods, death is the Black Racer. For the Flashes it's The Black Flash. And then there's Sandman's girl version. Which it has been explained that they're all the same entity, just different faces of it.

Truthfully I think the Sandman universe would be better off if it weren't connected to the larger DC universe, but eh... It's not like it matters much either way.

I'm confused.

To clarify, are you talking about "Joey" acting as a soap opera character as "Joey" on the tv show, or are you talking about Matt LeBlanc acting as "Joey"?

When Joey, the character, is on the set, he's definitely not an idiot. I have no idea if Matt LeBlanc is an idiot, but he sure plays a good one. Then again, I love it when Joey, the character, throws out surprise bits of intelligence.

I still laugh my ass off at this.

Oh, and this too:

This is all rather off-topic, though, perhaps we should take it to the television thread?

Is it? Not all Vertigo books are connected to the DC universe. I'm actually just starting to read Sandman myself.

She's had some entertaining appearances in Deadpool's books. Talk about weird girlfriends
