I did a little research on it as well - I am trying to figure out what it can do that my PSP can't...

give me some reasons to bid more! (other than for the kids, of course)

Well the OLED touch screen is really nice.
SD support instead of proprietary.
Open source means lots of free games and emulation if you are into it, all the way up to PS1. Pretty big scene for free (legal) open source stuff available also.
NeoGeo, CPS1&2 alone makes it worth price of admission.
PSP (hacked) can do most of that but the screen isn't as nice, doesn't include touch and the form factor is not nearly as portable. Nevermind the much better video codec support on the Wiz.
