So you're losing how much a year?
May as well wait 6-12 months to get the ultimate editions with all the DLC + omega costumes and extras for potentially less than half the price!

I've never really had a preference for bigger sprites. It's pretty much why I detest Megaman 7. I guess it was cool at the time to see these bigger and more detailed characters on screen, but instead of that you could get a lot more mileage out of larger environments and more level.
Oh, absolutely. In fact, the
Mega Man games are always the first that come to mind when it comes to spacing and screen real estate. It's also probably one of the reasons that, overall, I actually think the NES-era platformers are better than the SNES. (Of course, the SNES has some
amazing games, but there's just so many solid ones on NES that it's hard for me to go against it.)
I put up with it for Megaman V on the GB, since that game was awesome. Otherwise yeah...
I don't have any issues with the X games, but the size changes are very noticeable when you hit the PSX games. Still didn't bug me like Megaman 7 does, but yeah. What does bug me about the PSX games though is the pointless ability to duck. WHY, giving the characters two lines of fire changes the whole dynamic when you really break it down, and was pretty unnecessary. Oh well... still love them, but that's the biggest change that bugs me haha.
But yeah it really could be my initial love for Mario, Megaman, Blaster Master, etc that programmed my preference for smaller sprite characters.
