I think this is exactly what they are doing. And if they do it as well as Steam has with killer sales, weekly drops, bundles including all the DLC of a game. I will buy it whole hog AND I will be looking forward to it.

Well if that's the model that they want to shoot for, that's what they need to be successful. Microsoft and Sony have done stupid things and smart things when it comes to business. Let's face it, they wouldn't have the money they do, if they hadn't done something right. Sometimes what is best for the consumer, is the best way to make money.

No. Even if I liked that sort of thread, I see no point in bothering with one until the 360, PS3, and Wii are dead. By the end of the year the thread will be pointless because of all the games it will be missing. The Top 200 128-Bit Games would have been a better idea.
