Right now, I am playing baldur gate dark alliance for the ps2

Currently playing 3:

Dragon Quest VI
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I've held out on starting another until i complete at least one of these three.

I'm currently playing through chrono trigger for the first time, as i recently bought it on DS. Its pretty good so far, especially for an old-school RPG which i find very hit or miss. I'm finding it odd that 5 of my current 6 characters are really useful, but Lucca just does nothing much for me atm.

Playing through Chrono Trigger the first time was a wonderful memory of mine. I played it alongside two other close friends as we kept tabs on our progress every time we hung out. Good times!

While the sheer amount of 'old-school' rpg's might be hit-or-miss, if you stick to the suggested batch, they will surely make you miss the olden days quite a bit.

You say that, but i cant stand the breath of fire games, and dont think especially highly of FFIV or FFVI.

Playing through Secret of Mana 2 currently. Enjoying every moment of it!

Baten Kaitos for the gamecube. I picked this up brand new way back when it first came out, and thanks to the way the leveling system in the game works, I got stuck on some ship underleveled with now way to level up without beating the dungeon. Picked it back up again, and it's better than I remember. The game just took a pleasantly surprising plot twist thats keeping me interested (I think if anyone's played it they know what I'm talking about)

Just last week I spent two all nighters on this with a friend. Great fun in Co-op but found it was way too short. I'm not really an RPG fan, only ones I have enjoyed are Grandia 2 and this really, so I would recommend this to anyone who isn't particularly into RPGs much!

I suppose I'm playing Skies of Arcadia but I haven't picked up the controller in awhile. I really need to finish it, its great.

I'm really into Tales of Destiny 2 (PSX) right now. Next, I'd like to go back and finish Vangrant Story.
