Pfft! SSX? No thanks, I've had my fill of "xtreme sports" and snowboarding with the zillion other games in this genre.

Pfft! Daytona USA? There are like million racing games out already and besides the genre just screams "play in the arcade" to me and couldn't be much fun with a controller.
We agree :D

I'm not disagreeing with you, all i'm saying is there are posts online of folks who were waiting in line at midnight to snag their PS4 only to bring it home and not be able to play it. I would be pissed as well if I was in this situation.

All electronic products have an expected failure rate. The Xbox 360's turned out to be damn near 100% in time, but any product can arrive DOA or be bricked shortly after using it. The web amplifies these problems in way that it didn't until the most recent console generations, but news of PS4 failures is hardly surprising.

I think he's referring to the PS4 being HDMI only, not that some are going to be DOA.

Ah. Well if someone buys it without realizing it is HDMI only, that's on them.

Looking up my local Craigs and found a ton of PS4's going for over $800. Why? That is crazy! I haven't heard a store here in Arizona that has sold out of them, yet.

"Listed for" and "selling for" are two different animals.

manowarjoe wrote: Same here! I also heard that the PS4 is only coming with a HDMI cable. Some folks were pissed about this and can't find a converter for their TV (Yes, some still don't have a HDTV). I'm curious on how this will play out.
This makes me giggle, people can afford a PS4 but cant get a HDTV, there is NO excuse for this, get with the times.

I will be happy to oblige later today. Remember, I am actively seeking as much status and standing as I possibly can, so every bit helps. I am also considering fashioning the unit into a necklace. Thoughts?
