Putting in another Original Mode score.

ExedExes - 23,545,597,460 - Stage 3 - x7040 - Type-I

It was only notable because of a great break multiplier I got from a Double Break in Stage 2. Otherwise, not so much.

Looking at my play counts, 112 Original, 25 Simple and 1 Unlimited (total 138) and the play timer is just shy of 7 hours. I haven't spent that much time on a shmup in a while.

The "May Showers (V: OT)" makes me think you aren't excited or Varth, but the "Capcom" in your sig means that could not be possible, since Varth is Capcom's best shootin game hands down

I really wish I would've started this one up earlier in the month, but on the plus side, my comp is now running silky smooth, so its CC time.

My only real complaint is how long runs take. I've now done 8 runs in simple mode and 5 runs in original mode and have over 5.5-hours of gameplay (comes out to about 25 minutes per run).

In that case, you're going to love Varth. It has 30 levels and a full playthrough lasts almost one hour!

Admittedly, most people don't actually make it that far...

You won't get to 30 with a credit, but you have to get through Stage 29 & 30 on one credit, no continues allowed!

I am glad to see a lot of folks liked this one. I've been playing off and on throughout the month (original and simple modes) but have not put up a score that I feel I can be proud of - they are all below my old scores from when I first played the game a few years ago. Anyway, I don't want you to think that I've not been playing - I have! I hope to give it another hour or two today.
