Anyone try windows 7 yet?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Performance wise I never saw any difference between Vista and 7. It was much slower at playing games, but that could be a driver issue. God help is if it uses more resources than Vista.

Not sure it will be quite as convincing as upgrading from 2K to XP was.
2k to XP wasn't that big an upgrade. It was more of a unification of the NT Kernel with a slightly shiner front end. Vista -> Windows 7 is more like the upgrade from vanilla XP to XP SP2. I see very little benefits of the upgrade. I think MS should work on making Vista better. Windows 7 should be Vista SP3. It's little more than a few tweaks here and there and they've forced you to use the quicklaunch for everything and made the taskbar twice as big as it should be.
