Screw that man, I'm home ALL the time playing video games. I remember when I was your age I built a room in my garage for myself, dragged a 9 inch TV out there, hooked up my SegaCD and a little couch. I even took some speakers and shoved them into the couch for "force action!!!" I lost months in that room... sleeping, waking up playing Lunar, sleeping, waking up and playing Vay, sleeping, waking up and playing Popful Mail, sleeping, waking up and playing Pitfall, sleeping, waking up and playing Shining Force CD, sleeping... you get the idea!RyaNtheSlayA wrote:just because i play them doesnt mean thats all I do! Im usually not home to play them as I like to go out w/ friends alot but since ive moved havent been able to do that much. Now that schools started again I can make new friends and get out some more, once im 16 i probably will have even less time since ill be hittin all the places in downtown Denver...masonyes wrote:Yeah that's great you're 15, but shouldn't you be living it up? Instead of playing video games? One day you're going to be old like us haha and you're going to regret wasting your time.

Older. Not wiser.
Re: How old are you?
Just turned 27, but I feel like a perpetual 14 year old who can drink (a dangerous combination indeed). I still get all wound up when I find a system/game at a flea market or antique shop, especially when it's a pile of random games in a box, it's like panning for gold (only fun).
Time goes too damn fast. Oh well, I'll be gaming well into my twilight years, you can bet on that.

I am unaware of who Gordon Freeman is. I have almost zero knowledge of the mainstream/pop culture.DuManchu wrote:Gordon Freeman?Dreamstation wrote:I'm 25 and I have a PH.D. in physics.

Wait...you're 25, have a Ph.D. in Physics, post on a website about retro video games, and you have no idea who Gordon Freeman is?
Good God.
Maybe you're just not into PC games, or first person shooters, but it's still a little shocking. Do yourself a favor. Look up the game Half-Life.

Re: How old are you?
After thinking about it I know who Gordon Freeman is. I'm not a huge fan of Half-Life.
