I will do my best to get on it. I am honestly more interested in this than next month's options, so if it's alright I might still use this thread in February. After Red Dead and the zombie DLC I wanna do Kirby's Epic Yarn and Deadly Premonition first. Then I could probably do Alan Wake. My partner also wants me to review the Mass Effect trilogy so I can talk about part 2 here.
No worries, guys! I was just joking. I’ve only played through the first episode, and I’ll share my thoughts on it as I work my way through it. That said...has anyone played through it already? Should I plan on downloading the two DLC episodes? They received mixed reviews, and I may leave them alone if they don’t add much to the experience (so that I can play Limbo and Dark Void Zero).
I hope EVERYONE in this thread has experienced Deadly Premonition. So good.
Anyway, there are nights when it's far more feasible for me to game on a portable device outside of my game room rather than fire up the Wii in there for Other M. So I'm perusing what I have access to that way, and it appears that Mega Man 10 was released in 2010. I haven't played that one yet; skipped it as I wasn't too hot on Mega Man 9. So I might think of that as a back-up for such nights in between bouts of Other M.
I've seen a few cutscenes of Deadly Premonition and it looks like a parody of Twin Peaks so I'm most definitely looking forward to it.
Red Dead Redemption hasn't really been broken for a few days now. There was just some minor collision detection and animation issues, but stuff I can look past. 40% done according to the stats, I assume like 20-30% more in the main story. When it's not broken it is amazing, but I will have to drop some points for the broken beginning.
Another 2 commutes since yesterday means more Oath in Felghana progress!
Yesterday I cleared out the Elderm mountains, grabbing the last of the magical macguffins involved in the games plot. This morning I picked up from just after the boss fight, watched some story scenes, and headed off to the castle for what I assume is either the final or penultimate dungeon.
The game seems to be hinting that it's going to try and give some kind of redemption arc to a certain character, but I really hope it doesn't. The character has none nothing in game, even knowing their reasons, that are in any way justifiable, and I think it would be a real shame if everyone just forgives them - too much happy clappyness and not enough cutting terrible people out off your life and giving them actual consequences for their actions if you ask me.
This evening I should finish the castle, and then we'll see how much is left. If it's not too much I'll probably try and finish up tomorrow, even though I'm not commuting then.

that's pretty much exactly what it is. It's awesome.
Does anybody remember PSN's show Qore? I'm watching it via youtube and it's a great way to recap 2010 IMO, great stuff, it was the first time i saw Fallout New Vegas, my hype was even higher after that. Episode 20 is the first one from 2010 BTW.
I got owned while playing Red Dead Redemption. There was a prison guard wanting me to get the escaped prisoners. I brought one to him and he shot him (funny touch), then he started walking away with a limp. Where he was going? I wanted to find out for myself. I spent a few minutes following him as he was limping away. He then got attacked by a wolf. I aimed at the wolf, but accidentally shot him instead...
