Which non-Persona SMTs have you beaten?
Just SMT4, SMT4: Apocalypse, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions (not technically SMT but it plays just like a Persona game).

Nice!

It would be interesting to read your thoughts as you play through this someday:

Without a guide of course. Nocturne is way funner without a guide!

Wait, what? Persona 5 has me hooked way quicker than Persona 4 and 3 did. Persona 4 in particular took me hours to get into (but once I did, I couldn't put it down).

Edit: Also you didn't put 100+ hours into Persona 3 or 4?
I think Elkin is crazy. Or maybe the themes are hitting too close to home and chipping into his idealism. I definitely want to see how the phenomenon we are experiencing ties in to a greater overarching plot. Plus, talking kitty.

I've got that one on my shelf, but I've not gotten around to playing through it yet.

I have yet to finish a Persona game. Particularly the modern ones. I figure if I finish one first, it will be Innocent Sin.

Wow over 2.5GB for the Japanese voice over pack on the PS3.

Will anyone go through the game with JP VOs? When I get to it I may since I am currently going through Tokyo Mirage Sessions right now and that's JP VO only. I'm enjoying it that way.

I've been using the JP VOs since day one, and I avoided all of Atlus's localization videos so I don't have a point of comparison. I am kinda weirded out by Igor's new voice (apparently his old JP VA died). It's a completely different take on the character.

I'm weirded out by Igor's new English voice. I wonder why they changed it for the English localisation.

My guess is to mirror the Japanese change.

Oh for fuck's sake, I didn't realise this stupid game forces you to waste days whilst doing the palace!

I had two days to go, thought "oh yeah, I'm going to beat this palace soon" after spending the weekend on it and then the game goes "nope" and sticks its middle finger up to me.
So you get to the end of the palace and apparently you have to leave the palace and go into the real world to send a "calling card". Just leaving the palace wastes one day. Then the next day you have to send the calling card. This wastes another day and the next day you have to enter the palace to do the boss (I presume) and steal the treasure. Except, if you're an idiot like me, that final day is May 2nd, the day of the board meeting and it's game over
Edit: And I'm back to where I was. Good job I'm using all 16 save slots. I guess I missed the little calendar clue and it seems I wasted a day by accident anyways.
