Ok then. Recently myself and a friend played a bit of Todd's Adventures in Slime World.

We set it up with a ComLynx, and had fun with the different modes, including co-op.

I have been trying to get the red label versions of the Atari games with the 2600 logo on the label. Trying to find them is hard and the only option is eBay for me but that can be expensive. Just going to have to wait for them to come in at my retro store

100 games, just like the Atari collection for Android. Probably the same games too!

that really is pretty. I don't think I've ever even seen a Lynx in person. I always thought they were cool looking back in the day when I'd see them in magazines. Though I ultimately went with a Game Gear when I wanted something with more 'tude than a Game Boy.

I wanted to bmp this thread up for a few questions.
So I just got a Atari 5200 for free and it came with pole position and 5 controllers. Only 2 controllers work. I bought pac man for 1.00 and played a little of it.
So now I own a 2600jr, 7800, and now a 5200. So what is so great about the 5200 that people go crazy for? Except for the fact its the size of a tank and you can fit a beer can in the back.
The controllers are bad and the games are average or ports of 2600 games. Anyways now I own all three systems.
Love the history and systems bt the 5200 is the weirdest system ive ever own

Oh man, you need to search out my posts on the 5200. Yes the controllers are crap, but there are fixes or alternate (though expensive) controllers. Of the three, only the 5200 sound chips are matched to some of the Arcade Cabinets of the day! The 5200 graphics are certainly much better then the 2600, ooh the explosions in Defender! There are some very very cool exclusives for the 5200 and homebrew conversions of Atari 800 computer games playable via an SD Cart adapter directly plugged in the console. For one of the best history aspects of a game console; the decades later coding completion to the 5200 Tempest game comes to mind.

Here are a couple of my Threads/Posts to get you started:

5200 Tempest - http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=293108#p293108

5200 SD Cart - http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1056551#p1056551

5200 Trakball Repair - http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=726298#p726298

In the pictures below, this is why I post spelling of JOYSTIK and TRAKBALL; the missing C. :D

Is there a more beautiful console logo then the 5200?

Here's a link to my now-ancient homage site to the Atari 5200 Supersystem, where I tried to expound on my love and nostalgia of the system. You kind of had to be there back in the day to see the red-hot awesomeness of the system's games compared to other consoles. But I still play it with original equipment and in emulation quite often.

Just like there has never been a substitute for what you get when playing Atari 2600 Kaboom and Circus Atari with actual paddle controllers, there was nothing like playing Space Dungeon and Robotron with twin sticks, and analog control in Missile Command and Centipede with the trak-ball controller. Tempest (released a few years back at AtariAge ) is an awesomely fun conversion, and again - with analog control. Also 5200 had great arcade conversions at the time, far better than 2600's watered down ports.
