Sadly I'll probably stuck supporting IE at work for at least the next decade. :x
So many memes will go to waste :(

Good riddance  (and that commercial about therapy for those who say "IE is only good for installing other browsers" is hilarious because I still can't take IE seriously....)

Just wish they would release Halo 3, 4 and 5 on Windows, really annoying imo, i want to play them, but not buying a Xbox One just for those games.

from PCWorld:
The confusion here stems from Microsoft's maddeningly obtuse naming conventions. Leaving mainstream support only means that Windows 7 won't be receiving any new features or product tweaks, such as the impressing-sounding DirectX 12 gaming technology slated to launch with Windows 10. You won't be able to call Microsoft for free help if you run into an issue with Windows 7 either.
So I guess it's official, DX12 will be a Win10 exclusive.

Might also be on Win 8, but you won't be able to stick with 7.

The one that's better, but since it looks slightly different you cover your eyes and put your fingers in your ears and go la la la la.

I had it and didn't care for it. The preview of 10 I like though.

Fresh news from Microsoft's painfully aspirational Windows 10 briefing. Owners of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 will be eligible for a free upgrade to Microsoft's upcoming OS. The free upgrade will be available throughout the first year of Windows 10's life.
That's a pretty big deal—Microsoft no doubt realises that people are hanging on happily to Windows 7, but the chance of a free upgrade could prove tempting. For PC gamers, it'll mean free access to DirectX 12, which won't be supported by Windows 7.
^this is great news, IMO.
