Think about playing that in one sitting on an actual VB...
No passwords so good luck. You can technically start at later levels, but that would just be cheating
I do have a goal to beat one of my virtual boy games this year. Either verival force or telero boxer
You can only start at levels up to 40. There are 100. I've never even gotten close.
Teleroboxer is also crazy hard. I can't be the third fight. It's a lot tougher than Punch-Out!
I've beaten Red Alarm and Wario Land on my VB, and Mario Tennis if you count that. Telerboxer and Mario Clash are my other 2 games though, and they seem a long way off being finished

Never mind fan groups, why hasn't Nintendo themselves remade it for the 3DS? The nearest they've come to acknowledging it's existence is with a Warioware one shot.
I am right there with you. It is my favorite VB game other than Galactic Pinball.
Over the weekend I dominated most of Super Mario 3D World. It just made me long for a true Mario 2/Doki Doki sequel. I am glad they have embraced more of that world into the Main Mario games, over the Yoshi ones it has been regulated too for a while. And more games need the cherry powerup. Holy crap. 5 fireball Peach's is awesome.

The Virtual Boy gets forgotten for the same reason that Metroid games are so infrequently released, the last Wario Land game was farmed out to a 2nd party developer, and Kid Icarus never got a sequel until the 3DS game which was a radical departure for the series: Gunpei Yokoi left Nintendo and later died in an accident and the (in my opinion) legendary dev team Nintendo RD-1 was disbanded in 2005.
Pretty much all the amazing work that team did was orphaned when the team was discontinued.
