I'd say it is right behind 2 as "Weakest FF game". The nearly 2 hours between the last save point and final boss is pretty brutal.jfrost wrote:According to Hardcore Gaming 101, FF3 is too hard and primitive, despite it's 3D coat of paint. What do you think?noiseredux wrote:Grabbed FFIII for $8.

Re: Square Enix Humble Bundle
FF3 DS(Mobile tablet) isn't bad. They gave it a story for the characters instead of them being FF1 generic, rebalanced much of the game too and gave it a better flow. Sure it's old, in some places I guess it shows its age, but nowhere near as much as it could. It's a good game, better than much of the more recent titles, but it's not a AAA masterpiece either yet it's totally worth the $8 download price drop, but not the full one when you can get the real DS copy for less.
I was surprised to see if you paid up $9 currently you can finally get an RPG in a Square bundle, I know shocking, a JRPG in a Square bundle. They should have just called it an Eidos bundle. Perhaps they could grow up and make a real bundle, even if it's some Android bundle with their retooled SNES/DS games on it. It would be the right and nice thing to do since that stuff goes in part if not all to charity depending how the buyer sets the cut.

The Humble Weekly Sale is much better. You have QUBE, Strike Suit Infinity, and The Last Federation.
