Yeah the only problem is it does require a little more patience than pokemon in some regards....I previously sold it but I think I rebought the first one really cheap and the second one was slightly more expensive(just to go ahead and have it on hand). I already had the wii version and that's why I got the ds versions(for the second time with the first one) :D I actually need to spend the next few months scouring their psp and ds bins at game stop there's some seriously marked down games and the only bad thing about those is no case(except that plastic carrying case on psp games). But hey worth it for a cheap game or two that might be decent. I think chibi robo was also in that bin along with children of mana. I just need to see who has children of mana before I go up to a gamestop and they don't have it.

Now is a good time to hunt DS games down on the Gamestop website. You would be surprised how much stuff they have just sitting behind the counter in drawers right now :P. All the stores in my area have one small two sided display cabinet full of loose DS games then another 200+ shitting in the drawers behind the counter waiting for space to open up. Had enough people stealing the games that they stopped putting them on the counters

Yours must be different than mine. We have that normal two-sided glass display and the bins with the 9.99 and under games. I've just got to remember to go through them all next month when I don't have to worry about tuition  I'll just have to get replacement cases but that's a minor detail

I have seen those, but sadly, I limit my self to CIB games. If Gamestop had kept the cases and manuals, my DS collection would grow to a ridiculous size.

Yeah but there's usually plenty of people on ebay and all around the web that for some odd reason have the cases and manuals only for some games...I just haven't gotten around to getting the cases and everything yet.

Please don't tempt me! Insisting that my DS games be CIB is one of the few ways that I keep my spending under control!

Ehh if i do that then I miss out on some great games....probably the biggest reason I need another one of those multi-game carrying cases for my games to slide into my current carrying case or I need a better carrying case for the ds

Hey, my next game I'm thinking of starting is a JRPG, so either going with a DS or PS3 RPG.

Anyone have any tips for having the DS run smoother on emulator? I use DESMUME, though I think I need to upgrade it >.>

First off, yeah, make sure you're using the newest version.

These are the official recommended system requirements:

Windows OS: Windows Vista SP2 or later
Mac OS: OS X v10.6.8 Snow Leopard or later
Linux OS: Any recent Linux distribution with a 2.6 kernel.
CPU: 3.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent
RAM: 2 GB

From: http://wiki.desmume.org/index.php?title ... DeSmuME.3F

If you've got a 64 bit machine make sure you're using the 64 bit version of the emulator too, you'll get much better performance.

Also, since we're speaking about emulation and DS again... you guys might like to know this bad boy just got translated:

Thanks a bunch for all the suggestions. I happen to have an R4 card, so I can get them all! Can't say I am bored now... have lots of RPGs to beat!
