Yeah, I just discovered the points available on stage 5 - if you can cancel those big fly traps, huge points. I only no missed the first 2 stages on this last run. Died on 3rd stage stupidly (really mundane area). Die on stage 4 boss. Died on stage 5 mid boss (brutal). Died out from there on the last boss.

On the PCB, there's only slowdown in 2 areas and it only lasts about 3-4 seconds.

On the second round of snakes on stage 3, snakes are shooting, the big beetle thing you're hovering over is shooting, then popcorn flies come from the sides, it slows down right there everytime for about 3 seconds.

It doesn't slowdown again until stage 5. It slows down on 2 of the flytraps for about 2-3 seconds each time.

I've managed to dig my way out of some of this Cave-in, boy that light sure is welcoming.

Yeah, those spots are where I am getting slowdown too. Most of the worry over accurate slowdown in this game isn't about Original mode, as it really doesn't have much. That said, the latter part of Stage 3, with all those snakes, is brutal with the lacking slowdown.

Great score dude.

Put in a few runs last night with no real improvement. Woke up this morning and decided to take a stab at it 1st thing, and here's what I came up with.

Those huge flytrap things just spew ridiculous amounts of bullets, and I only got to the mid-boss by luck. At least I have some idea of what to expect now.

Awesome, Donnie. Yeah, stage 5 is a whole new level of crazy and the mid-boss is not friendly, harder then the first 3 bosses for sure, need to see those patterns a few more times.

Thanks. This is shaping up to be a good one; I like it when there's a lot of people vying for the top with a smaller variance in points.
