The thing about reserve is that it just means the seller is not obligated to complete the deal if reserve is not met.AppleQueso wrote:Would be funny if his reserve is actually $10,000 and the final bid ends up being like $9,950 or something like that and he just wastes a ton of his own time.Raiiban wrote:We're at 8,200 now, surpassing the high bid on Game Gavel, guess I was wrong about him not finding a higher bidder here. Reserve is still not met though. Maybe he really is trying to sell it for over 10 grand?

Re: Sega Pluto prototype console revealed!
With the reserve being so high, I wonder if the dude has to pay off a loan shark. Or maybe he's just a greedy son of a bitch.

$12,000 broken and the reserve is STILL not met, this guys insane, How much does he want and how much are people willing to pony up? This is the last day of bidding, I'm surprised enough it surpassed 10 grand, but to get this high and still no reserve met... wow.
Re: Sega Pluto prototype console revealed!
He might not be interested in actually selling the prototype. He could be just gauging what it could go for on the open market.

It's at $14,825 now, still no reserve... This is just stupid. Is $15,000 the magic number? Will it end with such an unreal high reserve that we never find out?ZeroAX wrote:14.000$ (almost) and reserve still not met...this must be a joke
edit: 15 grand broken, reserve not met.
Re: Sega Pluto prototype console revealed!
this mofo's now at $15,099.99 and reserve is STILL not met. Out of curiosity, i took a look at the bidding history and saw two bidders with 0 feedback that were bidding pretty recently. Now, i can't help but think if perhaps they could have been dummy accounts that were set up just to bid up the auction?
