The 2d fighters and shooters I own on my modded xbox so i chose the dreamcast. Don't get me wrong I think the saturn was and still is a great machine but I know what everyone is here is with their friends about thesystem. I was the only one who had the mahine. The games I loved were world series baseball 2, vf 2,, guardian heroes, daytona and any 2d type game.
You can build a very good collection of great games for the Saturn, ranging from 2$ to 40$ per game, at most.

I've made a list about a month ago that is my reference point wen i'm trying to enlarge my collection for the Saturn, i could also post it here, if you want.

Yea, it's even easier if you go Japanese for the games. They're dirt cheap and mint.

Haha, you easily get Saturn games factory sealed for dirt cheap if you import from Japan.

I can't tell you how many times I've purchased a Saturn game that was described as like new and it came factory sealed. The Japanese really underrate the condition of their games, it's insane.

Yeah, that's how i played Shining Force III Scenario 2 & 3. They're so much cheaper than the US version of scenario 1, and there's even a fantastic translation patch available for these two, to play the games in glorious english.

Fantastic games, by the way. Scenario 2, 3 and Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG are worth owning a Saturn for.

The price difference between regions is part of what makes collecting US saturn games so rewarding tjough. That and I love the longboxes.

I only have imports that were not released in the US.

It's still Tommypoo's fault that the Sega Scream exists in the first place, he even incorporated it into their advertizing campaigns which pretty much consisted of 90's people acting a fool screaming their heads off, and then calling Nintendo Junk. More examples Now, don't get me wrong, I do like these old campaigns. But I'm also an incredibly weird person. Tommykins continued to try these types of campaigns in spite of any actual success well into the Saturns launch before leaving in '96. About the only thing he did right was fight for price drops in the systems, and that was quite the battle considering Hayao Nakayama's death grip around his neck.
Thomas was largely responsible for both Sega's image of the time and the first couple of years of saturn's short lifetime and he failed at both horribly.

Haha, that's great.
"It simply does not have the power"
-drops the playstation from who know how many stories high.
The fact that it straight up lies and says the playstation wouldn't be capable of THAT GLORIOUS 3D is hilarious.
