Is there something in the TOS that prohibits this? I just went and read through it and didn't find anything, unless those groups were doing enough of a tit-for-tat that Valve decided it was compensation.
I don't think this group really has much to worry about. Most of the groups I've seen taken down recently were more geared towards trading/selling games not giveaways.
The CAG giveaway group (3000 members) was closed. It only had deals posted on it and used as a steamgifts group.
Again the RB group is tiny so hardly matters. It is pretty lame of Steam at any rate.
Wow, thanks very much for offering this up to the community. This was one on my wish list. I'll be keeping my eyes open for something fun I can offer up to the community in the month to come.
So, I know this is for Steamgifts, but would anybody be willing to pitch for the Sonic and All Stars 4 pack? It'll be 10 bucks cheaper bringing it to 20 per copy, and it'd be cool to have some people to play with.
Figured this would be as good of place as any to ask.

I can only do 2 at a time until I get some more giveaways under my belt on steam gifts so if anyone has any specific games from the list below that they want a shot at give me a heads up and ill start with them.

No preference on my part, but just an FYI, Metro 2033 can't be given away on steamgifts anymore simply because the market has been flooded with so many keys they are near worthless now.
Also, at some point I will be giving away a copy of Dishonored.
