I'm going through X4 with Zero. Getting all the heart tanks is a bitch. Also Web Spider is giving me ALOT of trouble. Err Web Spidus. Still used to the English names.

I love X4 so much, but haven't run through with Zero... yet.

The game is 10x harder with Zero. It's probably the best game with Zero in it until X7 and X8 (Zero was THE MAN in X7)

I've always found X4 to be a bajillion times easier with Zero (black suit or otherwise). He was also the first character I was actually able to beat the game with.

Also, I didn't know that you had X3 on the Saturn, noise. Did you just pick it up. I don't remember seeing it in your sega collection thread. The aspect on that port weirds me out. It seems like it's meant to be in 16:9 display--or am I just losing it?

I got it 3 or so months ago. Yeah, I feel like it SHOULD be 16:9. Maybe it's meant to be stretched?

The boarders are because it's in the Super Fami resolution and Capcom couldn't be arsed to upscale the sprites a small bit. It's not because it's meant to be 16:9

Isn't black Suit Zero supposed to be just a cosmetic thing?

It's not just the boarders, though. The sprites and things look a little too slender to me, in a 16:9 picture they look more like what I'd expect, but still ever so slightly fatter than they should.

I forgot what exactly the differences are, but I believe he takes 25% less damage, or something like that, in the black suit.

I don't have that Version of X3 my self. I do have the one on X collection where it's all fixed (and they kept the arranged music as opposed to the SNES soundtrack which I prefer) X3 is next on the list since it's going to be a LONG LONG time before I can get a copy of Rockman 8. Which since it does partain to my Saturn collection I'll tell the story.

I found a $50 Buy it now on Ebay and bought it. I use prepaid debit cards becuase... I do.
and my perchase was rejected by the card.... assholes have a US ONLY policy they suddenly put in place thus blocking me from obtaining the game I BOUGHT THE SATURN FOR. The seller was in Hong Kong.

So until I finally cave and get a Paypal or find a us based Rockman 8 auction.... I'm without the game I bought the system for.

That was a blessing in disguise. First off, Hong Kong and not JP, a bit of a red flag there, could be legit, but i'd feel safer buying from JP. That said, Rockman 8 only does $25-40 at auction, just spy one out and grab it.
