The rumors have gotten pretty rampant with this story all over, but yeah at this point I think I'd be shocked if Sega doesn't start doing some investigating.

Loved Borderlands, Gearbox's Halo PC maps, and other stuff they've done, hell I said it earlier in the thread and always will, I enjoyed DNF. But this just reeks of bad karma all over it, so ... yikes.

I know it's free, but just to throw it out there for everyone - be prepared to be out the $15 for this game. I've found the mail in rebates from them to be pretty sketchy. Getting denied for no reason, taking way longer than the stated "8-10 weeks" to arrive, and in the end you get an Amex card which can be kind of hard to use.

I've heard that the patched version of this is pretty alright though, so it may actually be worth it.

It's pretty sad that I'm still hesitating. I was really excited for this game but it ended up being a disaster. At least we got a fun companion game out of it on the DS with "Aliens: Infestation."
