I couldn't get it to recognize
Mutant League Hockey or James Pond, despite knowing them without hints.
Is there a trick to their titles that I'm just not getting?

Nope, just keep trying. Others complained about how finnicky it is. Reload the page, etc...

Do this.
After trying James Pond a few times I recalled a poster I had with the name "Robocod" as part of the title. Just type in Robocod and it should work. It did for me.
