I think that comes down to gameplay style preference. I prefer Legend of Heroes as well because it's more traditional which is how I like my RPGs, but I love Ys as well.

Front Mission: Gun hazzard is an Action RPG side scrawler shoot em up that i think i like a bit more than front mission on the DS

I didn't know there was a non Strategy/RPG Front Mission other than Evolved. I'll have to look into that, I love the Front Mission titles.

That's another question for you guys, are there any Japanese consoles that won't work in America without any sort of cord extension? I know PAL systems use a different power cord which has caused me some problems in the past, but not sure about Japan. I suck at modding so I'd like to get a Japanese PS2 at the least for consoles, not sure about the others.

Japan uses the same electrical and broadcast standard as the US, so you're good to go.

Thanks. Also along the same lines, the European thing for older games. What is it, like 60 Hz? Is that even an issue with newer American tvs now? There's a few games that us in the US never got that the UK did, like Terranigma, that I want to buy but I'm a little paranoid about the Hz difference. Never really understood it but I know back in the day it made UK games nigh unplayable on American tvs.

In the case of Terranigma you're probably better off just buying the Japanese version (Tenchi Sōzō).

Also, does anyone know about playing imports on the N64? I haven't really looked into it, not sure what I'll need to do to make it happen.
