Yes, Microsoft definitely made an improvement with the new 360s, but my point is that it took WAY too long to fix things that shouldn't have needed fixing and they still haven't perfected it. They shouldn't have needed to add wifi. They shouldn't have needed to fix a 50% fail rate. They shouldn't still have a disk tray. They shouldn't have needed to fix the problem of having your disk destroyed if the Xbox got nudged (at least I assume that finally got fixed).

I'm not saying they didn't make improvements, but they took a system that started off being very flawed and made it about half as flawed. It's like a kid brought his grade up from a D- to C+; it's definitely a huge improvement, but it's still not where it should be. I'll applaud a good product, not a decent product. I'm not just like this with Microsoft. I have the same disappointment in Atari for the Jaguar CD, in Nintendo for the Family Wii, and I'm still on the fence about the DSi (it added a lot of features, yeah, but it took away the GBA slot; I wasn't okay with that).

One of my cats likes to sniff the 360's power button. Maybe it's the sound it makes when she touches it with her nose, I dunno. Anyways, this has resulted in a few intense gaming sessions ending pretty abruptly. Followed by me yelling: "Goddammit, stop sniffing that power button you naked monkey!..."

So yeah, touch buttons are cool, as long as your cat doesn't find out about them... -_-
My cat likes to sit practically on top of the XBox 360, towards the back because she loves the heated air it blows out.
So looks like this thread it's going to end up with cat stories...

Off-topic asside, the LAST version of the PS2 slim it's awesome, it doesn't need a AC adaptor you just plug it in directly and i played all day with a slim PS2 ( model SPCH 90001) and it varely heats, but SONY take a lot of time to make the "ultimate" ps2.

But the GBA SP it's pretty cool with the added backlight, i really need to get one.

To be fair they had the fail rate down below 50 percent a good few years before the Slim version. The Fail rate has been around the same as the PS3 for at least over 3 years. I have a launch model and it is still running fine, never even froze. My brothers PS3 phat version was sent in 4 times(got it wen it launched) last time Sony had to replace the whole motherboard because it had fried.

Has anyone mentioned the Neo Geo Pocket -> Neo Geo Pocket Color? Because if not, shame on all of you. Except elmagicochrisg. No shame on him. He has a lot of Dreamcast games.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

There's a difference between disk and disc ... just throwing that out there. For whatever reason that just irks me.

That's a bit beyond a revision. Don't you think?...

lol, I honestly didn't know there was a difference. Please educate me? I hate it when I use a word incorrectly and don't realize it.
