I must have missed the Venture Bros hate in this thread or something? But yeah, totally a great idea to leave out one of the highest rated and best shows on the network.
No, he was saying that they should get rid of Adult Swim, excepting Venture Bros. As in, Venture Bros. stays when Toonami arrives.

Oh. Well if that's the case, I retract my statements.

Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you, BoringSupreez. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

I don't know about everybody else, but when I talk about bringing Toonami back, I'm strictly referring to Saturday nights. I don't think it's plausible to think it would take over every night of Adult Swim. But if it were to just occupy one day, specifically Saturday nights, since that's the night they already show the anime in, then I think it would be quite feasible and would work well for them.....providing they get some new shows.

KDub wrote:I really like Durarara , Brotherhood and Kekkaishi, but yep in classic [AS] fashion they are just replaying episodes again. Bleach sucks and has sucked since after the first season.

Though with Brotherhood I believe I'm in the minority of enjoying the original Anime over this one that follows the Manga closer. The original improved the story in my opinion.
Loved Durarara, very fun non traditional anime plot.

Kekkaishi is an interesting show but I'm bummed they cut the story short for the animated version. It gets interesting right where the anime ends. :x

Bleach I enjoy and used to watch subbed episodes every week. I can barely watch the dub due to "SPIRITUAL PRESSURE" WTF.

I remember the days of Salior Moon airing on USA (channel), the first anime i'd ever seen and watching Voltron / The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest (did this show have a plot?) on cartoon network forever ago back when things were hosted by Moltar. Geez, I even remember trying to recording episodes of Samurai Pizza Cats from the local Fox affiliate at 6am so I could watch it while eating breakfast before elementary school. Good times.

In the end the Adult Swim folks need to fire who ever is rerunning FLCL (one of the best but shortest series) over and over. PLEASE bump up the ghost in the shell! Oh and CAN BIG O for crying out loud! :x

Wonder how many people will tweet that they do. Sadly I know there are people out there who really like Tim and Eric or 12oz Mouse...
