Which games do you never get tired of playing?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

Super Dodgeball (almost any version, but especially the NES and GBA games)
Golden Axe (well, it does get old, but I replay it a surprising amount of times)
Tempest 2000 (Gaming Nirvana every time I play)

Pretty much any Street Fighter (post SFII)
Zelda (as a series, not a specific game)
Possibly Mega Man (again, as a series, but MM2 still gets the most attention)

And someone(s) said Doom, which I'd have to agree with. I absolutely love the original levels... and then there's all the custom wads...

Final Fantasy I and VI I will replay until the end of my life (again, they can get old, but I always come back to them at some point).

I would say Castlevania:Symphony of the Night, but I have to have a good amount of time between playthoughs before I'm itching for another go. The soundtrack never gets old though.

Except for my 1st 3 picks, my tastes are pretty typical.

Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion have both been subject to several play throughs since I bought them, I sometimes go back to them just to fight the last boss again.

Hmm.. That's kinda a tough one. Just off the cuff, I'm going to say the following:

Dungeon Master (PC, Atari ST)
1942 (arcade)
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Shenmue (DC)
Mortal Kombat (Vita and PS3) also MK3
Hot Shots Golf (any)

I can pretty much play these games any time, for as long as i want, and be very content indeed. Good thread, very hard to make the choices as I could probably add 20 more easy.

Street Fighter II: The World Warriors (SNES & Arcade)
Super Dodgeball (NES)
Mike Tyson's Punchout!! (NES)
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360)
NBA Jam TE (Arcade)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Revenge od Shinobi (Genesis)
Tekken 3 (Playstation)
Tomb Raider Anniversary (PS2)

I am still amazed at times that with all the updates, revisions, sequels, and spinoffs that the original SFII is still my all-time favorite game and that I still play it fairly often after all these years. Super Dodgeball is still an extremely fun experience for me too. Those were the days...
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

For me, it's not just having tons of games on one disc/cartridge/whatever, having played many of these games in their original presentations, I like to get a feeling of how accurate the developers can emulate these games. Sadly in the case of the DC Sega Smash Pack, they couldn't even get the sound right.

I'm also adding Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the SNES. It was a rental almost once a month for me back in the day, if only because of all the silly action, but I really just enjoyed all the mini games within the game. Heck, even one whole LEVEL has you doing nothing but going around and playing games with no bosses or objectives. How freaking cool is THAT?
