Things you've failed at doing in video games for years

I can get the emeralds in almost all Sonic games... but the last three in Sonic 2 always screw me over.

Sonic 1 is the only Sonic game I haven't gotten all Emeralds in. I'm just... so ridiculously bad at that Special Stage style. But your success, and this thread in general, are inspiring me to give it another go!

lol, that's the only Sonic game I can actually get all the emeralds in. It's really nothing more than memorizing the layout of each special stage. Once you know that, it's a cakewalk.

Even so, I was able to get five of them on my first run through. Even without memorization, you just need to figure out how to stick to walls and it's ridiculously easy.

1.World 8 in Mario 3...I HATE world 8
2.Doing that race in Mega man legends to get the shining laser
3.Wily 1 in Mega man 8 JUMP JUMP SLIDE SLIDE
4.The final special stage in Sonic 2

I was eventually able to do #s 2 and 3 but for a LOONG time i couldn't. To this day I still can't get past world 8 in mario 3 surprisingly although then again I stopped caring/trying a long time ago.

Wow, world 8? I consider it to be one of the easiest and shortest worlds haha. It's mostly just a bunch of waiting for the ships/tanks to scroll through

World 8 is freaking hard, IMO. I've always been able to beat it, but that's because I know what I'm gonna face and I stock up on P-Wings.

Beat Mk2, Mk3, UMK3, and Trilogy on the hardest setting.

getting the achievements that require a harder difficulty setting. I cannot get them on the extremely difficult setting. they are just to hard.
