I found out a while back the real reason (or so I read) why Episode 2 will not be on the Wii. It's because the game is over the size limit. Apparently Episode 1 barely made it.

I don't know what to tell you. The release date has been written in every related article written about the game all over the place since it was announcd in April.

Sort of came out of nowhere for me too. But anyway, looking at the reviews, it seems like it's really only a slight improvement over the first. And the music sounds horrible!

I'm almost through the game and it's definitely hit or miss. It's like Sega said 'oh shit, we did good with Sonic Generations? Fuck that noise!'
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

They should've just outsourced 4 to Inti Creates or something. Make it like it's being developed on the Genesis, 16bit and all. Would've been gold.
