In a true "Jack Sparrow" fashion, you suggest that the game is worth playing, but haggle over price (I think that's how Jack would see it at least).
Maybe that's how reviews should be rated. I think that would be more helpful. And I've even seen people do that in reviews, saying "it's not a terrible as a bargain-bin game", or something similar.
A $0-60 scale.
$60 is amazing enough for a new purchase.
$50 is still a must buy, but find it on sale.
$40, Good Fun, wait for the 1st price drop
$30, Mediocre, wait for a great deal on Amazon.
$20, Worth a look, but hold out for GH release or clearance price.
$10 and under, is flawed but a nice bargain bin find (Cheap Thrill)
$0 Don't even waste your time, even if it's free
And that could be adjusted based on the cost of the games on a particular platform.
Of course, that would probably upset game companies quite a bit, outright telling consumers to disregard the retail price.
