Is the Neo Geo more powerful than the Super Nintendo?

Well you've gotta admit that games like Magician Lord were fairly close to their arcade counterparts. The home version had a snazzy new intro to make up for any shortcomings it may have had during the port. Later arcade games like Metal Slug and some fighting games were translated to the Neo Geo. They didn't quite make it home perfectly intact but they were arguably better than the same game on the SNES and Genesis and a bit closer to the arcade. But still, the Neo Geo couldn't handle fighting games very well at all and that's why there aren't very many on the system. They kept getting botched during the arcade-to-home ports so that's why the Neo Geo focuses mainly on RPGs.

Neo Geo is more powerful from what i remember... arcade ports of the game look amlost like the arcade themself on the neo geo.
