Wow. I didn't realize how long that video was Watched the whole thing though. Nice to see his reaction to the last 3 bosses. I wish I had people to help me play the freakn' game.
Holy shit. I was just playing Ninja Gaiden, fighting the boss at the end of level 4 (those two things that hop around). Two of them some how respawned on the pillars, there were four on the screen!
edit: I just beat it for the first time!
I love the last screen after the credits. It reads:
So as I've already stated, I played the first Ninja Gaiden and really enjoyed it. Now I've moved onto the second one. I'm really not liking this one. It's not the same kind of hard, if you know what I mean. The first game, I did not find "cheap" at all. The second one, I definitely think it's cheap. It's a lot easier in some respects. Like the way the birds attack you, it's easier to kill them. You can run up walls. I just can't put my finger on it, but there's something that just frustrates me about the second one.
It seems like a gimmick that every level has some kind of quirk to make it harder. The second level has wind, the third has the lightening thing, the fourth has the water that doesn't allow you to stand still. Is every level gonna have some stupid thing like this? If so, count me out.
Those red clones that you get really irritate me. They end up doing more harm then good. Some times when there's enough enemies on the screen, the last thing I want is two red blinking clones of myself. They're barely useful, and they end up costing me damage. Especially when that red dude that charges you is coming at me. Some times I don't even see him coming because the red clones are distracting.
Is that weird? That I like the first one but the second one frustrates me? Or is that the general opinion?
I might skip it and move onto the third one. I played the first two levels of the third the other day, of the SNES version. It definitely felt different, but I liked it. I read that people didn't like the "floaty" feeling they gave to the jumping, but I think the game plays pretty good. I'll probably play the Famicom version on my PowerPak.
