Ketchup goes in the trash. Fries are eaten with salt, and mustard, bbq sauce, and/or worcestershire sauce goes on burgers and hot dogs. Well, maybe only mustard on hot dogs. :P

Another vote for the 'no' camp from me. In fact, I was on another forum the other day where people were discussing the acceptibility of putting egg on their pizza before they cook it. egg! :x

Some strong opinions going on here!

Yeah, mustard on fries is just wrong. Then again, I'm the guy you see dipping his fries in his McFlurry!

Not a big fan of egg on pizza, but a fried egg on a burger is HEAVEN!

Also, an interesting pizza I came across when I was in China, Hawaiian Pizza, but with Thousand Island sauce instead of tomato sauce under the cheese. Everyone should try this, pure awesomeness!

If I'm ever selling something and o.pwuaioc buys it I'm going to include a bottle of ketchup with whatever I send him.

I'm shocked no one has posted this yet.

As far as pizza goes, my preference is definitely Gino's East in Chicago, but I say put whatever you want on your pizza if you like it. When it comes to pizza franchises, they all prety much stink but once in a while I'll get a pie from one of the chains that is pretty decent.

There are also a lot of independently owned pizza restaurants that serve some good pizzas but there is only one issue with them: change in management. This drives me nuts as a new manager comes in, cuts costs, and then the pizza starts to taste awful.

As far a ketchup goes, I find it an abomination in most cases, especially when it is put on hot dogs. My Father in law likes to drown his well done steaks in ketchup, which I think is a waste of perfectly good meat, but hey, if he likes it, he likes it. Same thing with anchovies on pizza. I actually like anchovies (the rolled ones with capers) on a pizza. The saltiness of the cured fish really brings out the flavor of fresh mozzarella, but I would not recommend anchovies on a cheap pizza as then it just tastes...fishy.

True story: There's a local joint called Boli's Pizza in my area (Sara Palin had a pie and some beers there last year) that serves a pretty good pie. My wife, a few friends and I went there a few months ago, and as always, we had the "What do YOU want?" conversation. In short, my wife wanted a white pizza, one without tomato sauce, but rather olive oil and fresh mozzarella. While discussing the white pizza, an african-american family sitting across from us kept shooting daggers with their eyes at us. I swear I think they thought "white pizza" equaled "pizza for white people".

I agree with this, if I've correctly interpreted the order of operations here. It's "(Fries are eaten with salt) AND (mustard OR BBQ sauce OR Worcestershire on burgers/hot dogs)", right?

I don't get ketchup. Tomatos are sweet and tangy enough already. It doesn't need tons of sugar and vinegar.

Damn it Luke, if only I had looked at the site last night I would have brought the horror upon the forum.

Typically I eat food for what it is, but if it is something I have had before, or something I think will make it better, I will add any variety of ingredients (after tasting it ofcourse). I use to keep hotsauce in my car for this reason, hell in college I carried it with me on my backpack. Of the none hotsauces the only ones I am prone to bring are anchovies, chopped garlic, or garlic salt. Nothing too out there, but Ill try most anything - easy on the mayo though.

Hot saucewise it goes Louisiana, Sriracha, then Tabasco - Garlic Louisiana is heaven sent. Baking Louisiana into your cheapo pizza is awesome. Yall gotta remember though, I live in the south. Putting hotsauce on anything is acceptable and usually a common practice. I mean even some of the Chinese restaurants have Tabasco on the table.

Oddest pizzas Ive ever were
Conch, tomato, and green pepper - Absolutely delicious
Squid and rice - Not as good
Kidney Pie pizza -Surprisingly good

When I was a kid, my siblings had a dare of putting different stuff on pancakes. The rule was everyone had to take a bite. Syrup, honey, peanut butter, jam, sugar, eggs and bacon. I came up with Mayo and once in a while still slop some on.

As for Pizza no mayo, just peppers and parmesan. New York thin crust is my favorite, sadly not too many on the west coast.

Whatever floats your boat is what I say. I personally wouldn't put any of that stuff on my pizza but hey, if it tastes good and you like it, then to hell what other people think!
