^ USS Enterprise aft station

I like it. I was running a dual monitor setup, and then triple, and now I'm just rocking a solo 24" to clean up some real estate.

Here is my desk, I am really liking this thread! I built the desk myself, it has a lockable compartment built into it. I never "finished" the wood cause I like the look and feel of pure sanded wood. Before anyone asks, yes I haven't taken the plastic wrap edging off of the right monitor. I never do until after the 30 day mark in case I have to return it without any hassles.

You've got a ton of awesome stuff. I prefer a nice clean setup though. Updated the OP with a new pic. Got a new monitor and was able to clean it up even more than it originally was!

Wow that is clean, what is the specs? Yours is the after pic of my before pic.

Maybe leave the older pic up for nostalgia?

Unfortunately I don't have the older pic anymore. Anyways, the monitor is a
24" Cinema Display and the MacBook Pro is a 2010 13" 2.66ghz, 8gb of ram, and 750gb 7200rpm hdd.

Smart move keeping all the packaging, even the protective wrap on the frame of the monitor. Since not covering any vent holes not a problem, hopefully the monitor doesn't warm the plastic to be hard to remove later.
Nice job on the desk, what are the two black tabs on the right edge?

Thanks! The monitor doesn't really get very warm at all, so it shouldn't be too much trouble I think.

If i'm talking about the right thing, those are usb drives, I put hooks along that side of the desk to hang all my usb thumb drives from. It holds 5.
Also, that strange stray piece of wood down below is meant to keep me from kicking the power strip off during intense online gaming I used green duct tape, not screws so I can access the strip without trouble. Looks less than classy, but its functional.
