Donkey Kong Country, great or awful?

NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii

What is your opinion of the original Donkey Kong Country?

I thought it was awesome, a good entertaining platformer.

we still had a black and white TV kicking around at the turn of the century. :lol:
I think I've told this story on here before, but if I was playing on my SNES in the same room via the aerial input I could turn on the black and white TV and somehow the signal would be transmitting across the room, and the SNES picture would be appearing on the black and white TV as well - even though they were completely physically separated. :o
No clue how that works.

No clue how that works.
When I played PS1 games via RF on and old antenna tv from the late 70's I would see a sketchy faded Mario walk across my screen from my sister playing Mario 64 on a similar tv in the next room.
