Just throwing this out there for people who are playing password based games (Dragon's Trap) I recommend taking a digital picture of the password screen rather than writing it down. This has saved me so much time with Wonder Boy 3.

1 month ago I found my old sega master system in the attic and one of the 3 games left, besides Sonic and Captain Silver was Wonder Boy.
For the last month I've been playing Wonder Boy almost every day and I'm still not tired of it, which is strange, because there are really few games which I can play on a daily basis without getting bored! In fact I have many games (especially for pc and psp) which I've bought and then played for less than a day before throwing them (not literally) into the darkest corner of my room and never even remembering them.

A couple o' days ago, I was playing Wonder Boy and I started to wonder what it would be like to play it while high. So I rolled one, smoked it and entered the world of Wonderboy! I have to say, it's really fascinating, how such an old game can still make me happy to such an extent, while new games bore the shit out of me after 2 hours. Maybe graphics aren't everything..
I don't even know where to start on the list of things I love about Wonderboy.. One detail I especially apreciated was, that when you jump, you still can change directions and slow down while in mid-air. I think this little "feature" (don't even know if the developers wanted it to behave like this...) creates a whole new feeling, transforming the platformer into something similar to a puzzle game. And I personally think, out of all games I've played, Wonderboy has the best ability to jump-shoot, the controls are just so easy and yet so perfect!

Well, just wanted to throw in my opinion and don't take this answer too seriously ;)
