Haha, What ARE the odds!?

I played CvS on the PSX a long time ago. Only a few minutes into this one I'm getting a sense for how much they stripped out to make it work on Sony's machine. Of course, since getting into Sega platforms last year I've been noticing that a LOT.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Well, CvS is a Namoi game so the DC version should be arcade perfect. Same with MvC2.

This is the first time in weeks that we've had sunny weather, and it's reminding me of those times when I would skip classes and just kill time on the arcades watching people play Marvel Superheroes VS Street Fighter and King of Fighters 98. I'm going to marathon them as soon as I get off work.

Just recently found a copy of King of Fighters 99 for Dreamcast. I normally dislike 3 on 3 fighters, but I gave it a try, and I'm especially pleased that the game has a one-character-mode. Whip is a pretty wierd character, but from how I played she looks like a good rushdown character, so I'll play with it a bit more.

Played quite a few fighting games at Thanksgaming. Showed Flake the ropes in Mark of the Wolves, failed at 2 on 2 in Power Stone 2 (and I was using Ayame, LOL), found out I still have some Project Justice skills, and I'm still unable to even touch the boss in King of Fighters 13. Oh, and mugenmidget is a very fast learner at KoF 98.

It was fighting games central. My wish list for DC fighters grew yesterday. I NEED Powerstone.

Yah, it was really cool, thank you both for bringing those gems. Sorry we didn't get to try KOF 1999 Dream Match, I feel like I didn't contribute.

I have a cart of this crazy game (Yu Yu Hakusho Tokubetsuhen), it's not a traditional fighter but still fun to play. Been playing a lot of this one with family and friends, easy to get into and enjoy:

Another one I've been trying as of late is TMNT: Tourney Fighters. Very good SSF2T clone, more or less, uses only 4 buttons. Mutant Warriors (the Japanese version) has some interesting differences but both are very much playable:

Maybe if we do some SNES gaming at a future meet I could bring those, there's quite a few good 3P-4P SNES games to boot. I also have the NES version of TMNT: Tourney Fighters that's darn impressive for an 8-bit tourney fighter, featured the "Smash Ball" before Smash Bros. Brawl!

I went to a Roger Waters concert in Florida yesterday, which was an 11 hour drive. Played Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower the whole way.

Only just now beat Lv100 of the Chaos Tower. Brutal.
