If that's the loophole, I still push for the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom combo: between the Game Boy Player, and the Satellaview, I've got access to some interesting titles.

I have more Genesis games than anything else even before adding in my 32X and CD titles, though I also have more crap I don't play like sports and Sonic titles I've acquired in lots that I'm slowly getting rid of. My NES collection isn't far behind though and there are only a few duplicates and detritus from lots there. Most of my NES games have been purchased on purpose and I haven't picked up as many lots for some reason.

But dude, the point is to figure out which system we have the MOST games for. Not the one that makes us the most happy.

Beyond that, I'm kind of surprised by how diverse the results are. This isn't a conclusive sampling by any means but I'm starting to see that there is almost no real common thread in how we all collect.

...and I think I appreciate that.
Ok, I read your first post properly and apologise. You did say very clearly that you wanted to know which consoles we have the most games for. In that case I would have to change my vote to ps2.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

No choice for the 2600, huh. I have about 280 unique 2600 games. Just about every version of the console too. Heavy 6er, 4 & 6 switch woodies, darth vader, sears video arcade ii, and the 2600 jr. Lots of accessories like wireless controllers, kid's controller, joyboard, supercharger, etc., etc. At this point, it's hard to find 2600 games I don't have.

Saturn - 72 (only 6 of them are US games)
PS2 - 26
SNES - 24 (one is a SFC game)
Gamecube - 13
Xbox 360 - 12
Game Boy (original) - 10
GBA - 9 (one is a duplicate, but that's on purpose)
Xbox - 4
PS1 - 2
GBC - 2

all my dreamcast games are backups

Love the Saturn line -- unfortunately between JPN exclusives and price differences, it's almost a necessity. Half of mine are probably Japanese.

And the Saturn and Dreamcast are my largest collections of backups. I'm hoping to pick up a few more originals, but I've already purchased most of my favorites on the Dreamcast. But Project Justice, Cannon Spike, Under Defeat, and Power Stone 2 might take a while as those are a bit pricey (although not as bad as some Saturn titles...)

I love the GameCube so that's my biggest collection with 43 games, although 3 are repeats. 40 would be a true number. I'm not a collector of "everything" I try to keep my games to top 25 or so of each console.

For the Wii I have 44 games if you count Virtual Console and Wiiware. BTW do you guys consider you own a game if you have it for Virtual Console or Steam?
Thanks everyone...
