I'm friendly with most of you, but have only met Snickerdoodle in person (a few months ago when I visited his store in Chicago). I would say that the mods are all a good group of people, and a few of them I was at least somewhat friendly with on the old segaxtreme boards...

I don't really remember who the "first friend" was...but these days I probably chat most with Ack and Racket in PM and email, and with jfe2, weasels, classicgamer5, 707, MrPopo, pephary, and a few other folks in IRC. I have also had some nice conversations with newcomers Hobie-Wan and Luke. (Luke, hopefully I'm in the brew/chew crowd.) Lots of you have struck up some conversations with me around the auction and/or podcast too, which has been nice.

I think I've convinced Racket to come to PAX East next month, so I'll get a chance to meet him and anyone else who wants to come. If you want to come, maybe we could do a mini meet-up - sound off in the thread here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 15&t=19229.

Anybody remember lordofduct? I remember him making some type of farewell topic for one reason or another. I respected him but also feared him, probably because he had exemplary debating skills and would shut you down quickly if you didn't really think your argument through.

Kind of had the same feelings about Mozgus (didn't even realize he left the forums).

I don't really have any friends. I believe me and ryantheslaya are the same age if that counts for anything.

I guess I would say Xonticus is a friend. I met him while he was working at Play n Trade, we just go on and on with Retro gaming until I mention this site. I was a pretty awesome experience, I never thought I would ever meet a fellow forum member, let alone in the state of Connecticut.
